SHONA CRUZ
Executive Wardrobe Strategist • Author • Creator of the ICONic™ • Framework

Fashion caught my eye. Business held my attention. I grew up around family businesses, where service became part of my education early on. I also fell in love with fashion, first through the pages of Vogue, ELLE, and Harper's Bazaar in my mom's card shop. But my earliest impressions of style weren't from a magazine. They were at home.
I remember watching my mom get ready for her office job — her hair, makeup, clothes, and those final accessories. I was spellbound by the transformation.
Despite my love of fashion, I was equally drawn to the corporate world, imagining a career in finance or law.
Destiny had a different role for me, but in many ways, it kept me in the same rooms.

Retail became my classroom. I learned sales, service, and discovered what I loved most: wardrobing people. A career in business operations and management eventually led me to build SHOP WITH SHONA.
Over time, I recognized whom I was meant to serve: leaders and professionals whose growing visibility demanded more from their wardrobes.
Client after client revealed a deeper connection between wardrobe, perception, capacity, and opportunity. Those insights became the ICONic™ Framework and, eventually, my book.
I'm still a shop girl at heart. I just understand now what we're really getting dressed for.
“My career has always lived at the intersection of people, business, and wardrobe. It just took me a little while to see how all the threads connected.”
WARDROBE AS LEADERSHIP CAPITAL
Today, my work is grounded in the belief that wardrobe is more than what we wear. It is one of the tools through
which we navigate perception, communicate intention, and prepare for the rooms we're entering.
I don't use clothing to manufacture credibility. I help clients ensure their visual presence
doesn't obscure the credibility they've already earned.
Because the goal isn't to turn you into someone else.
It's to build a wardrobe capable of going
where you're going next.
